-The 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations JAPAN +NORWEY- Re:Re: Redefining Jewellery for Tomorrow―明日のジュエリーを再考する

2025.9.13-10.13

To commemorate the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Norway, we hold a contemporary jewellery exhibition by eight jewellery artists active in both countries.
The theme of this exhibition is “Re.” Each artist has chosen a word beginning with “Re” and present works based on that word.
The prefix “Re”, which can be expressed as “再(again)” in Japanese, conveys the idea of stopping to think once again in order to connect to a better future. At the same time, “Re” also means “reply”. In this exhibition, the artists express their answers to questions about the future in the form of replies in their jewellery pieces.
The future of the world and the future of jewellery…we hope this will be an opportunity to reflect and ponder together with the artists.
